Festivals
Throughout the year, our church hosts two festivals: the spring festival in May and the fall festival in October. These events are filled with fun and entertainment for people of all ages. There are bounce houses for the kids, games for people of all ages, gift-card giveaways, hay-rides, and more! There is something for everyone to enjoy, and let’s not forget the delicious free food! Each festival concludes with a powerful gospel message where Jesus Christ is preached and exalted. These festivals attract hundreds of people from our neighborhood and beyond, making them a beloved community gathering.
Nursing Home Ministry
On the first and third Sundays of every month, we gather at the Fountain Blue nursing home to minister to the residents. This ministry is organized and led by Frank Meyer, a dedicated and faithful member of our church for many years. Our main purpose is to share the gospel with all attendees and provide them with an understanding of our Lord Jesus Christ. During the services there is preaching, singing, and a time of fellowship with the residents.
Outreach
Saturday visitation: On Saturday's we gather at the church for a time of prayer before we go out and make our visits. We visit the homes of those that may be sick or experiencing loss, we visit our members and any visitors, and we see those that ride on our bus routes. We use this time to be an encouragement and blessing to anyone that has come into contact with our church.
Saturation Saturday: Every couple of months, several members of our church gather to prepare door hanger bags filled with gospel material and information about our church. We then distribute these bags in a neighborhood nearby, leaving them on doors.
Door-to-Door Visitation: Every Monday, weather permitting, several members of our church go door-to-door in our neighborhood and nearby communities to spread the gospel. We knock on doors, personally speaking with individuals and sharing with them the good news of salvation. We also leave flyers and information about Christ with as many people, and on as many doors as we can.
